By Caray Grace | WLOX-TV 13 | July 19, 2013

OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) - Ocean Springs Mayor Connie Moran, has made it clear she does not want to see guns in city buildings.

"I am certainly in favor of second amendment rights. I myself have a gun, and I'm a pretty good shot, but I wouldn't bring it to city hall," said Moran.

No FirearmsShe thinks the majority of the board would feel that it's not appropriate for people to have weapons in city hall, during board meetings, in their courtrooms, at the police station, or at ball parks.

Mississippi's open carry law is currently in legal limbo after a Hinds County judge indefinitely suspended it, calling it "unconstitutionally vague".
